1990 Yamaha FJ 1200 Sport touring King! (Oak Harbor, Whidbey Island) $2900

I’m selling my blue 1990 Yamaha FJ 1200. This is one of the best sport touring bikes out there. The 130 horsepower inline 4 cylinder 1200cc motor produces a TON of torque, even in the lower RPM ranges. They are well known for their reliability and long engine life. The riding position is more upright than on most sport bikes giving you a lot more comfort for the longer rides but the power and handling say sport bike. This bike has 52,600 miles on it and still runs like it was fresh off the showroom floor. Dual 4 piston brakes up front and a single dual piston caliper in the back will stop you VERY quickly. Tabs are new and are good thru July 2009. The bike has a Throttlemeister throttle stop and a rear luggage rack and is stock otherwise. The rear tire is good but the front is getting close to replacement.

There are some scuff marks on the right side of the fairing and the tip of the right muffler as well as scratches on right side of lower cowling from being dropped at some point in the past. Paint has been touched up but if you want it perfect, it will need a little body filler and touch up the paint better. These marks are not very noticeable and the bike looks great overall! This is one bike that will not disappoint! I’m asking $2900.00 OBO but cash talks!
