” ‘86 Concours for sale. Low miles: 28,600. lots of recent work, runs well, clean bike. Recent work: rebuilt front forks, gas tank cleaned and resealed, new fuel gauge, petcock rebuild, carbs removed and cleaned, new gas line and in-line filter, new vacuum lines, valve job with new spark well seals, new plug wires and plugs, carb sync (you can have my new carb sync tool), clutch slave cylinder seals, water pump seals, synthetic oil and filter, Murph’s stainless fairing bolt kit, installed heated grips, new battery, new fan switch and coolant flush. It’s a great commuting and/or touring bike. I wouldn’t hesitate to tour across country on it. $1,600.”

…it engenders trust when a seller writes so much about their motorcycle for sale. What little I’ve included here is only one fourth of what the seller wrote in the craigslist ad. It isn’t perfect, but it’s had a lot of important work done and he feels confident of its long range usability right now. Plus, it’s priced to sell quick. Kawasaki Concours 1000 cc bikes have been called Ninjas with hard luggage - very good engines and very comfortable ergonomics.
