“I bought this bike used in 2004. It’s pretty clean low miles at 2,975. The previous owner had let it fall over and it bent the hand brake lever a little and it has a few scratches here and there. This is a very clean reliable motorcycle, always garaged and had its oil changes and such and everything works great on it. I constantly get complements on it. Depending on how you ride I have managed between 60 and 80 miles per gallon. The tab is good to June 2008 and the tires are in great shape. $1,850.”

The Honda Rebel, of course; the Yamaha Virago 250 (my favorite of the class); and Suzuki’s GZ 250. The GZ here only has one cylinder, but its looks and styling are tops. New, these bikes go for $3,149 from a dealership, so you’re saving considerable coin with this used 2003.
