1985 Honda Nighthawk 650 $1,500 - Burien, WA
“Runs super nice, looks great. Carbs professionally synched and tuned. Fresh battery; newer tires. Ready for action! Fun and surprisingly fast day bike or every day commuter. Low seat height, with lower bars. $1,500.”
…The Nighthawk 650 is a great example of the sport standard bike. It had great, usable power, it could give you some thrills on the twisties and it could be a rock solid daily commuter. Yes, youngsters, there actually was a time when you could get a motorcycle that didn’t bend you in half *and* could get out of its own way. They don’t really make ‘em like this anymore, and it ticks me and thousands of folks off because of it. I owned an ‘83 Nighthawk 650 and while it wasn’t my top favorite bike (Yamaha’s Fazer owns that crown) it was in the top three. Inline four cylinder, 4 carbs, shaft drive, dual disc brakes on front, hydraulic clutch, air cooled, and timeless styling. In the mid-80’s Honda told us it was the “World’s Fastest 650.” It’s priced right, especially if it’s the gem the owner makes it to be. Kudos on his excellent photography - some craigslist motorcycle sellers can’t be bothered to remove the crap off their bikes and just take the picture in the messy garage. Click the image to see the original craigslist ad and get in touch with the owner asap.
If this Nighthawk 650 is gone by the time you get here, lots more Nighthawks for sale here.
