…The poster writes that this is an ‘84 model, but we all know that this color scheme is from the ‘85 model. It looks like they coated the engine in flat black paint. Now, for some carb work and a new battery you’ll have yourself a kick butt FJ. I normally do not highlight bikes that “currently do not run at the moment” but I hold FJ’s closer to the heart than most other vintage bikes - hell, most other bikes, period.
